Clash Royale World Championship

In mid-November of 2019 we were approached by Martin Wong of Atomic Hype to throw our hat in the ring for a build of the Clash Royale World Championship trophy. After an incredibly compressed design and revision phase, we rocketed out of the gate with a 12-day start to finish build of one of the largest trophies JarmanProps has fabricated.

The tiered cartoonish-style trophy was digitally modeled in Rhino6 and Zbrush and then printed on a fleet of FDM and SLA printers. After a round of sanding and a double pass of high build automotive primer, the printed prototypes were molded in silicone and jacketed with a fiberglass shell. At the client’s request, we back-filled the molds with several pieces of steel and several dozen large bolts we had in the shop in order to artificially weight the trophy and make lifting it a more visceral experience.

The final surface finish was achieved using a 2k high-gloss automotive clear coat as a base and Alclad metallic finishes and tints to produce the deep faux-chome and gold.
